PRISON CURRICULUM COMPONENTS

The prison curriculum was created to meet a jail ministry's unique needs with regard to discipling aids. It will be a great asset as your church uses it in its ministry to the prison-bound.

The Prison manuals are a streamlined version of the Adult manuals, each unit being made up of small, manageable parts marked by checkpoints, giving students the freedom to go at the pace best for them. Weekly completion of some portion of the unit should be within the ability of each student, regardless of his previous education or religious background.

Expect students to spend several weeks on each manual. In some cases, a student will need to go through a manual twice or three times before he can progress to the next one. The books are perfect bound, so as to meet the requirements for prison use.

Prison Discipleship Manual
Book 1 & Book 2 - Finding Freedom God's Way
, are based on the Adult Level 1 Student Manual, Book 1 having three units and Book 2 having five units. The units follow the pattern of the apostle Peter's list in 2 Peter 1 of the seven virtues to be built on the foundation of saving faith. This list is Scripture's fullest representation of Christlikeness and, therefore, of the way to freedom that lasts.
